Luftwaffe military aerial radio receiver, FUG 10, EL.
EL is part of the FUG-10 aerial radio set.
Frequency ranges between 300 kHz to 600 kHz, long-wave, for telegraphy and telephony.
Manufactured by Lorenz, Berlin, Germany in around 1940.
FUG 10 was the standard radio installation used on twin engined and larger, long-range Luftwaffe aircraft, such as Ju88, Ju52, Heinkel He111, and Me111.
FUG 10 was considered reliable and rugged, so favored by the aircraft crews when life was at stake during combat.
This example had inner side verified as original and at good condition. Whether it still functions as a transmitter has not been verified. All nobs turn.
